used exhaust good or bad

i just got my honda, and one of my friends is trying to sell me his 5zigen fireball exhaust and he says its 80% new . ok ,
so im not quiet sure if that is a good deal or not
buying an used exhaust ? smart or not smart?

Exhausts don't really wear out unless your talking rust or holes which a quality one shouldn't have.

Stick a hose down it and wash out all the old carbon build up also.
